Skin and the cold wind

Here's the deal... in the last week the weather has dramatically changed. What we all need to make sure we do is keep our skin hydrated with a capital H. The best way to ensure hydration is to make sure you water intake is heavy, if your not a fan of drinking water plain add lemon for to enhance taste and the for the vitamin c. Also get a hydrating serum, the best bang for your buck in my opinion is hydrating b5 serum from skin ceuticals that I suggest to my clients, here's where to get it http://www.skinceuticals.com/_us/_en/catalog/moisturize.aspx.
Also wearing a rich occlusive moisturizer will protect your skin from the wind and cold. My absolute favorite is Neocutis, it's way pricey but totally worth every pretty penny here's where to get it http://www.neocutis.com/categories.php?catid=14 Those of us who live in NYC often have intence heat in our apartments. Purchasing a humidifier will help your skin as well as your over all well being.
One last suggestion, EXFOLIATE the body!!! There are plenty of salt and sugar scrubs out there, i usally get mine at whole foods or fresh. Stand in the tub and scrub the sins away then rinse off. Follow your at home spa treatment by saoking in a tub with a few drops of essential oil and olive oil or any body oil. These little tid bits hopfully will keep the spirits up and roughness away. Also remember lots of H20 and not too much egg nog! Merry Merry- Heather

do you have

perfect love? these rings sure do for each other... why would you dream of buying them separately.

cloaks

these awesome cloaks are exactly what "the public needs to protect them in this economic recession, " Lindsay Thornburg said. I wish that were true cause i sure wouldn't mind wrapping myself in one, but my cash flow doesn't seem to permit me to spend 900 bucks or more on this cloak. SO, no Lindsay unless you feel like making a cheaper version for us middle class folks i don't think i will be throwing on your protection cloaks anytime soon. it would actually be cheaper for me to fly to South America pay someone on the street that is selling something like this and then line the inside myself!!! WOW.. i am not angry today or anything.

Things that make you say HUH

this was another vintage ad i found ... but for what and when was it ever not illegal to kill a lady!

Vintage Ads

ok i love mexican food so i thought this was awesome

the colors kinda kill me in this ad, why was i not alive in the 60's

Aww it is such a mini-poster.
My pal Alain and his pal Aaron will be DJing it up this Saturday at Royal Oak. Here is a couple additional reasons he thinks you should stop by:

1.I'm either one of your favorite people or one of the worst people you know, so you should come.
2.It will be the highlight of your week.
3.There are cheap drinks and last week I heard there were people doing it in a booth.
.4 But most important we would love to see all of our friends have fun.
We will be doing this once a mouth and royal Oak some come ever month-
No excuses.

Metal Legs

After browsing through my college sister's roommates teen vogue I found this incredible pair of metallic blue Cheap Mondays. WTF. No where to be found I settled on this poor picture essay of crazy metallics to sport on yer legs. I dare you to wear the first NASA-esque pair. I think I will just settle for the American Apparel leggings with zip-up sides. I tried them on in black earlier in the week. Rock.
