the show is an eye-popping evening of visual and performance art created by people who work in the sex industry to dispel the myth that they are anything short of artists, innovators, and geniuses! The wildly successful cabaret -style show is hitting the road, bringing audiences a blend of spoken word, music, burlesque, and multimedia performance art. Intelligent and hot, disturbing and hilarious, the performances offer a wide range of perspective on sex work, from celebration of prostitutes' rights and sex positivity to views from the darker sides of the industry.

Berklee College of Music, Heavy Rotation Records (HRR), and the Berklee Internet Radio Network present their second annual CMJ Music Marathon showcase this afternoon at the Knitting Factory Tap Bar. The showcase features rock, indie-pop, funk, folk, and ambient music by alumni and HRR artists Annie Lynch and the Beekeepers (HRR), Christopher Barnes (HRR), Lucius, Teletextile, Tiny Animals, and Turkuaz (HRR). All Ages!

For the first time since they threw a party for Cornershop way back in 94, David Byrne's Luaka Bop records hosts a special CMJ showcase and release party for their 3 Inches of Music Series. DJ Justin Carter will spin tracks from the 3 Inches series and the Luaka catalogue while Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt - a never- a never ending romp of a dance party where looped pianos and saxes race on top of crappy synths and ill beats - performs live.
Step into Washington Irving's imagination and wander through the famed Sleepy Hollow Philipsburg Manor—an 18th-century farm where kids can carve pumpkins and play colonial-era games by day and hear tales of witches and ghosts by night. At nearby Sunnyside, Irving's home in Tarrytown, take in a (less spooky) program of magic shows, sing-alongs, and puppets telling "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow." At Philipsburg Manor. At the Great Jack o' Lantern Blaze at historic Van Cortlandt Manor in Croton-on-Hudson, more than 4,000 glowing pumpkins will wind through the grounds and illuminate the fall night.
Feathers fly and teddies soar as we gather for a massive urban pillow fight! Swing and whack as you evade pillow-wielding assailants. Bring a pillow to Union Square and wait for the signal. Pillow fight!
The Rules are:
- Look in con spicu ous (For effects don't draw attention to yourself)
- Hide your Pillow so it's not visible (prefer ably feather)
- Do not con greg ate in the location, try to be generally around it.
It will be really weird when "Out of Nowhere" all these people start to Pillow Fight.
1: At exactly 6pm Pillows OUT!!! And descend onto
Union Square
2: ONLY Pillow fight those with Pillows
3: DO NOT hit bystand ers or cameras unless invited.
4: At 6:15 walk away
Soft pillows only! + Swing lightly, many people will be swinging at once. + Do not swing at people without pillows or with cameras. + Remove glasses beforehand! + The event is FREE and appropriate for ALL AGES. Wait until 6:00 to begin. + This event is more fun with feathers!
